OUR SERVICES
Cosmetic Dentistry
The first thing most people notice is your smile. We offer a variety
of advanced techniques to create the smile of your dreams. Call us today to
learn how we can give you the smile you deserve.
Invisalign (Orthodontics)
The Creative Smile Center has advanced training and participates in many hours
of post graduate study pertaining to orthodontics and invisible braces. With new
techniques some orthodontic cases can be completed in as little as 10 months.
Thanks to CAD CAM technology,
Invisalign is able to transform smiles in months without wires. Some
orthodontic cases will need traditional braces, but with modern technology even
traditional braces are less noticeable and more comfortable then ever.
Orthodontics is changing and more patients are finding that braces are not just
meant for children.
Gum Disease (Non-surgical Periodontal
Treatment)
Proper hygiene care and regular checkups is the key to
maintaining healthy gums and teeth. Periodontal disease is a common oral
infection. Gum disease is a painless and slow progressing disease that destroys
the bony support of the teeth, and because it doesn't usually hurt, most
patients aren't aware they have this problem.
Periodontal Disease starts when plaque and tartar accumulate at the base of your
teeth. Periodontal disease affects the gums and supporting structures of the
teeth. The bacteria in the plaque leads to an infection in the gums (gingiva)
called Gingivitis. Gingivitis is an early state of periodontal disease where the
gums may become red, swollen, and bleed easily. If left untreated, the infection
can spread to the tissue and bone that holds your teeth in place, a condition
called Periodontitis (Pyorrhea). Because of the bacterial infection associated
with Periodontitis, tooth abscesses are also common.
Periodontal disease is treatable and preventable. We provide you with
professional care in our office and instructions on proper home care as well.
Tooth Colored Fillings
Inlays and Onlays are tooth-colored restorations that are used in place of
silver fillings on the chewing surfaces of back teeth. This approach has become
very popular because silver (mercury) fillings are not safe and are less
attractive.
Crowns & Bridges
The Creative Smile Center provides excellent restorative dental care. If your
teeth are damaged or decayed, crowns may be constructed to restore them back to
their original form. If you have missing teeth, a bridge may be utilized.
These restorations are cemented onto the teeth and are referred to as "fixed"
dentistry as opposed to a restoration of missing teeth with a removable
appliance or partial denture.
Dental Implants
Implants are an increasingly popular alternative to dentures, crowns and
bridges. They have many advantages, including their natural appearance, improved
comfort and unequaled convenience. If you are considering implants, we can
discuss the considerations and help you make the decision that is right for you.
Veneers
If you teeth are chipped, broken, or discolored, porcelain veneers are a great
way to change the color and shape of your teeth. A porcelain veneer is a
covering over the tooth that gives natural color and bridges small gaps.
Veneers can be a great alternative to braces for slight orthodontic problems and
provide a beautiful smile in a short amount of time.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Nearly 50% of the population feels nervous or
uncomfortable about going to the dentist or having dental procedures done. Dr.
Arrington understands the importance of helping patients feel relaxed and
comfortable during dental procedures. If you feel that oral sedation is
necessary for your dental care, give us a call to learn more about our sedation
dentistry.
TMJ/Migraine Therapy
TMJ Dysfunction is a popular term to describe a disorder of the jaw joints or
the muscles that control the joints. Symptoms masquerade as a multitude of other
problems such as sinus headaches, migraines, neck and shoulder stiffness and
earaches. The Creative Smile Center successfully treats TMJ and Migraines.
Root Canal
Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic treatment, is a dental procedure
in which the diseased or damaged nerve of a tooth is removed so that the tooth
can be saved or restored.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
Diagnodent - Laser Cavity Detector
Diagnodent is a major breakthrough that allows the Creative Smile Center to
detect tooth decay that x-rays cannot see. We can now locate hidden decay in
it's earliest stage, and with treatment stop the spread of the disease before it
destroys the tooth from within.
Digital Radiography
Digital radiography is the latest way to take and
evaluate x-rays. With digital x-rays, less radiation is needed to produce
high-quality images. These images can then be evaluated on a large flat-screen
monitor. This allows for easier detection of any problems. With such a large
image, it is also easier for patients to see and understand what is happening
with their teeth.
